Testing One Two Three

This past Saturday, the 21st, we were going to have our first non 'non-contact' visit, meaning I could finally wrap my arms around that tall skinny girl and she likewise. Keep in mind, the only thing for certain is that there's no certain. We know that. It's part of it.

She gets to email now so all week it's been 'can't wait to get a momma hug'. Phone calls too. Get to visit check in and it's still a non contact visit. Hasn't been changed. I just hoped she was handling it ok. And she did for the most part. We got thru it. Please let that be a sign that she's maturing. Or at least on the right meds so she will stay calm. Whatever works.

My heart broke when I saw how disappointed and defeated she looked. Thank goodnes she had received the joke book I had sent her. She does love to laugh. I told her this would make for a good test to show how she can control herself. Hopefully the non contact can be changed quickly. If not, Momma hugs will have to wait until Dec 23rd. Thursday is another visit! Happy Thanksgiving
